Our homegrown pickled okra is scrumptious, and the Good Food Foundation agrees!! We pick our okra every single day, so you won’t get oversized pods or that “slimy” texture that can happen when okra pods are left on the plant too long.
Paired with hot peppers (your choice of cayenne or Hungarian hot wax peppers) and garlic in a white vinegar brine, our pickled okra has a classic flavor. The pickled okra with cayenne peppers is a bit spicier than the Hungarian hot wax peppers, but neither of them are super spicy (the peppers just give it a little kick and a lot of flavor).
